THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENT IN HISTORY
Marcos E. Fink
I constantly meet people in search of truth. They believe there is something which is the truth, because even logical thinking indicates that truth exists, but they still haven't found it. They look for it in philosophy and in religion. Some would rather trust their own reason; others act as if money were the most important thing in the world. But, unfortunately, they forget to scrutinize the facts about The One who claimed to be the Truth.Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life". John 14:6
The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:3-6: "(...) Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time (...)".
If Jesus's ressurection is a fraud, Christians are really to be pitied, as the apostle Paul himself wrote in the same chapter: "If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men". 1 Corinthians 15:19
"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep." 1 Corinthians 15:20. If Christ really rose from the dead, this is history's most important happening, for He is risen, so everything He taught, preached and said that would happen in the future is true and this brings serious implications for you and me.
There has been enough evidence to show that Jesus Christ is risen and that He is who He said He is. Therefore, if you don't know what this can imply for your life, we recommend you find out about it while there is still time.
Knowing about it, taking a stand and living in accordance to it is incomparably more important than having a lot of money and comfort in these last years (or even these last months or days) you have left on this earth.
To know more on this subject, read the Bible (start reading the Gospel of John, read 1 Corinthians 15, study the New Testament, and then, the whole Bible. Further suggested reading: More Than a Carpenter.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" Hebrews 13:8
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved". Acts 4:12
