Luke 16:11
"So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?"

Marcos E. Fink

Money, Knowledge and Power "Use your knowledge to help people, never to exploit them; use money to fulfill their needs, never to buy them off; use power to serve people, never to dominate them".

We could write the text above as well:
"Use your knowledge, your money, your power and influence to help, fulfill needs and serve people, but never to exploit, buy off or dominate them".

Search for verses in the Bible that supportĻ those affirmatives. Otherwise, try to find verses that contradict them (Iím afraid you wonít find any).

Now why donít you write down what else, besides knowledge, money and power, you could use for the benefit of other people? Add another actions to the list of deeds related to helping, fulfilling needs and serving others. Try also to list another words associated to the idea of exploitation, buying off and domination.

Thus, compare those lists with all you can see in our society, like the way people behave, the way the big stores sell things (don't forget telemarketing), the philosophy of the credit institutions, providing easy money with the same hand that charge you with fares, and the possible motivations behind the economic, tax and management policies of the government. And why not compare also to the preaching in the churches?

After all, what do you conclude?

I conclude that: I should struggle to live my life helping, serving people and fulfilling their needs. This has been quite a challenge for me. And what a challenge! Itís not easy. But I keep on fighting. Take this challenge, and make a difference. Then you can experiment the difference.
